Features
Everything Cyrano does for you.
Cyrano is a WhatsApp assistant that answers the chats you choose the way you would, so people get a real reply while you get on with your day. Here is all of it, in plain words.
It sounds like you
Your voice, per person
It reads your past messages with each person and writes the way you write to them. Short with your friend, gentle with your mum, straight to the point with a colleague.
A voice match score
Each chat gets a score for how closely Cyrano sounds like you there. It won't reply on its own until the score is high enough.
The way you text
One long message or a few short ones in a row, full stops or none, "ma" for your mum: it follows your habits.
It learns from you
Every edit you make and every reply you skip becomes a lesson. You can see what it learned and remove anything.
About this person
Tell it who someone is to you, what's good to know, and what never to bring up. It treats that as fact.
Note for today
"At a wedding until 6." Tell it once and it keeps that in mind in every chat for the day.
Mum
Have you eaten today?
Sent by Cyrano, in your voice
yes ma, i just finished eating
It takes its time
Nothing is sent instantly
Every reply waits a natural moment, based on how fast you usually answer, so it never feels like a robot.
Change your mind
While a reply waits you can read it, edit it, send it now or cancel it.
Quiet hours
Choose the hours when nothing is sent. Replies wait until morning.
A daily limit
Each chat has a cap on replies a day. Past it, Cyrano goes quiet in that chat and tells you.
It asks when it isn't sure
Needs you
When someone asks something only you know, like your plans for Saturday, it holds the reply and asks you instead of guessing.
Answer in one tap
Pick a ready answer, type your own words, or say it out loud. Cyrano turns it into a reply in your voice.
Talk to it like a person
"Tell Tolu I'm running late." "What's waiting for me?" Tell Cyrano what you need in plain words, typed or spoken.
Asiwaju
Are we still on for Saturday? What time should I come through
Needs you: Asiwaju is asking about Saturday. I don't know your plans, so I haven't answered.
saturday is fine. come around 4
It holds up
No money, no secrets
It never agrees to money on your behalf and never sends codes, passwords or links.
Not fooled by tricks
What other people type is never an instruction. "Forget your rules" gets a reply in your style, nothing more.
No made-up memories
If it doesn't know, it doesn't invent. It asks you.
Big moments stay yours
Declaring feelings or a real apology are left to you.
You stay in control
Live or Ask me first
Per chat: let it reply on its own, or have it show you each reply before anything is sent.
Pause everything
One tap and every chat goes quiet. One more and it's back.
Take over a chat
Jump in whenever you like. When you type yourself, Cyrano steps back from that chat.
Only the chats you pick
It covers one-to-one chats you switch on. Never groups, statuses or channels.
Practice mode
Play the other person and see what it would say. Nothing is sent. Correct it and it remembers.
First messages, if you want
Off by default. It can suggest a first message, like a birthday wish, and wait for your yes.
It keeps you on top of things
Daily catch-up
A short recap of yesterday: who it replied to, what it asked you, and anything still open.
Reminders it notices
A meeting, a bill, a promise mentioned in a chat: Cyrano offers a reminder. It always asks before setting one and never messages anyone about it.
Birthdays and anniversaries
Ask it to look through your chats for yearly dates. You confirm each one before it becomes a reminder.
Reminders your way
Phone notifications, an email with a calendar file, and an alarm on your phone's clock (on iPhone, after adding a one-time Shortcut).
Read aloud and voice
Hear messages read out, and talk to Cyrano with your microphone instead of typing.
Talk to Cyrano Coming soon
A short voice call where Cyrano asks about you, so it needs to ask less later. You review and keep only the notes you confirm.
Private and on every device
Private by design
Nobody on our team reads your chats. They're encrypted where stored and never used to train AI. How we keep it safe.
Your account stays yours
Signing in needs your password and a code from your authenticator app.
Delete everything
Any time, in Settings. Your WhatsApp messages themselves aren't touched.
Any phone or computer
Works in the browser and adds to your Home Screen like an app, with notifications. Apps for iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows Coming soon.
Not yet
To be clear about what Cyrano doesn't do today: it doesn't cover group chats, doesn't understand voice notes, photos or videos, and only sends text. It works with WhatsApp only.
Questions people ask
What is Cyrano?
Cyrano is a WhatsApp assistant that replies to the chats you choose in your own voice. It reads how you write to each person (short with a friend, gentle with your mum) and answers the way you would, after a natural pause. When someone asks something only you know, it doesn't guess: it asks you first. It's made by AmaraTech IT Solutions and lives at hicyrano.com.
What's the difference between Live and Ask me first?
Live: Cyrano replies on its own, in your voice, after a natural pause. Ask me first: it writes each reply and shows it to you before anything is sent, so you can send it, change it or drop it. You choose per chat. Cyrano only allows Live once it sounds enough like you with that person; until then it suggests Ask me first.
How much does Cyrano cost?
Cyrano is in early access, and there's no charge during early access. Places are limited, so when they're full you can join the waitlist and we'll email you when one opens. Paid plans are coming soon.
Does Cyrano work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Cyrano works in the browser on any phone or computer, and you can add it to your Home Screen so it opens like an app, with notifications (iPhone needs iOS 16.4 or later for notifications). Dedicated apps for iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows are coming soon.
Get your evenings back.
Cyrano covers the chats you choose, in your words, and only asks you when it really matters.
